Hi! My name is Jacklyn and I live in Washington State with my husband, 3 dogs and 5 goats. I’ve been an annoying vegan since 2017 and I love all animals!
I generally listen to country, But can totally jam out to some Steve Miller Band if the mood is right. You might even catch me listening to Nelly or Justin Bieber, I’m all over the place.
I’m a non-fiction junky! I love historical facts and stories. I’m currently reading a book about the Eiffel Tower and how it came to be. When I’m not reading, you may find me listening to a podcast such as My Favorite Murder or The Casual Criminalists.
Earthlings Rain Man The Graduate
Gosh, that’s all I can think of. I’m not really a movie person
I’m currently binging Brooklyn 99, American Housewife and The Cleveland Show. But if I’m looking for something that’s never let me down as good background noise while I craft, that would be That 70s Show, The Office and Bob’s Burgers
Paper crafts, making junk journals (though I don’t write in them because I don’t like my handwriting), crocheting, pin making … I love to dabble in anything I can get my hands on!
Right now (2022), I’m making paper crafts with vintage magazines (1920-1950). I do not use printables in my crafts but don’t mind having them in the crafts that are sent to me.
When swapping, I’m likely to be involved in paper crafts and postcard swaps. The already mailed cards can often be found as simple ephemera to pull out and enjoy in my junk journals.
I love all kinds of postcards! I’m not picky, just getting something in the mail that isn’t bills or ads is a win in my book! I love to purchase postcards at my local thrift stores and send them to my friends all over the states, usually based on the picture alone.
My personal correspondence box is overflowing with postcards that I’d love to share with anyone who likes to get mail! I mostly collect vintage postcards but am often gifted all varieties so the box is quite the eclectic collection. If I had to choose, My favorite type of postcards are ones with animals/animal facts, weird or creepy art or already mailed cards from war time communication. I also love Ventriloquist dolls/creepy dolls, anything Kansas City or Chiefs related, vintage Disney and postcards of stone statues with the babies giving the finger (watch for them, they’re out there and they will make you chuckle)

Hi Jacklyn! I had a hard time figuring out how swap-bot works too! I'll be in the ugly postcard swap with you. After the sign-up date you will get an email saying that it's time to start swapping. When you click on it you can go to the top of the page an see whom you send to and their address. It also gives you a place to confirm when you have sent yours. It will become easier as you go. If you ever need to ask a question just look me up under messages. I'm Trevismom. Or Deanna lol. Happy swapping! ❤
