Halloween Journal!

This is a swap created by @witchfire who had to take some time away. I was really excited about it, so she's been gracious enough to give me the okay to re-post her swap - she even gave me a few extra prompts to use!

I hope that anyone who was initially interested will join again!

This is a journal swap, we'll be responding to the prompts below.

1- What does your Halloween, Samhain or Dia de Los Muertos look like? How are you celebrating?

2- Treat - give a recipe for this time year. Can be anything.

3- Letter from a zombie apocalypse survivor

4- Write a fake or if you're a practicing pagan/wiccan a real spell for the holiday.

5- Trick! Tell us about a prank you pulled or a prank played on you

6- Write a love letter to your fake vampire boyfriend. Can be from any fandom or can be a made up lover.

7- Dare! Go get a gravestone rubbing! Extra points if the occupants have a spooky surname ( Blood, Graves, Tombs) or the grave has a spooky legend about it. If you're too Chicken, then Truth it is! Tell us what would be on your epitaph or what your funeral would look like!

8- What would your dream costume look like? Make a collage, draw it, paint it, however you want to make it!

9- Tell us a ghost story! Can be made up, a real life experiance, an urban legend, or what not.

10- Make an envelope, Halloween themed and put something in it. You can fill it up or just put an individual item inside. Items must be Halloween themed as well, or at least autumn. Think stickers, ribbon, a handmade book mark, jewelry (if it will fit!), vampire teeth, brads, charms, candy (if it will fit and it won't melt), fall leaves, whatever.

11- Play list! Give us your best creepy playlist to scare trick or treaters and create the scariest mood.

12- A day of automatic writing! Host is not repsonsible for any possesion!

13- List thirteen facts. About anything. Must be loosely based on the season.

Bonus Prompts!

Make up a new monster! What does it do? Draw or collage it!

If you were a vampire or a werewolf, how were you turned? What era were you in? Where in the world? What happened?

What's your biggest fear?

Tell me someting creepy about where you live! Send something with it, a photograph of a haunted place, newspaper article, brochures, etc.

Decorating the journal is optional, but you can if you're good at it! The journal must be well written, at least 5 paragraphs per prompt (unless it is a list). Try to spend some time on it and send something you'd be proud to receive. 4.8 auto filter, but I'll be checking profiles!

I'm open on adjusting the dates, I can't remember what @witchfire was initially using - I don't know if we want more time DURING October or if you want to get your journal earlier... I think what I chose was pretty even, but let me know!
