Nurses swap

I've noticed that swap bot seems to attract a lot of nurses. I haven't been doing this for very long and I've run into quite a few. So, I figured it might be a good idea to have a swap just for us. This is for anyone with a nursing background, current or retired, in any capacity (RNs, LPNs, NPs, nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists, CNAs, LVNs, nursing students, etc.) Any and all are invited, no matter what your rating, newbie status, or location. You'll be sending your one swap partner three things: 1) a handwritten (our handwriting is always more legible than the docs, am I right?) letter about why you chose nursing as a career and about your career now. 2) a handwritten anecdote of an important nursing experience. This can be funny, sad, life-changing, whatever you want. Just make it significant. 3) an item that celebrates nursing. This can be handmade or store-bought. Some ideas would be figurines, ATCs, books, a nice wall hanging, or whatever else you can think of. For all participants, please list your nursing degree in the message area below, just so your partner knows and doesn't send you something for an RN when you're a CNA or something like that.
