I'm a dog lover and all around animal lover too. My favorite color is blue, hope that gives someone an idea!

I would love some fabric with geckos, cacti, red chili peppers or a southwest design

"...so your partner can make themselves ...," One partner, one person, no "them" involved. Nothing wrong with saying, "so your partner can make herself,,," because it's VERY rare to have a man in these swaps. This is not about correcting your English it's about making sense.

Junemoon, I'm not usually one for making sense! But I have changed the wording slightly! Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

I also like whimsical and 30s retro prints. Any color will be wonderful. However, I'm not real fond of orange.

I'd like any bright, pretty colors better than drab earthtones. I love cupcake designs, owls and ladybugs but would be happy with whatever you choose for me.

I like '30s fabric: real vintage reproduction patterns (not modern retro - you can always tell!) Next fave: '50s repro prints. The '40s too! I also love Liberty of London, Japanese cotton/linen blends, and French cotton prints.

Basically, as long as it's 100% cotton (+/- linen), it's hard to go wrong. (I can't use polycotton so please check carefully. Thanks!)

I love bright colours; florals, swirls, polka dots, stripes; virtually anything by Moda. My profile has more details if you need further inspiration. Or just PM me. :)

Can the ribbon be grosgrain/satin/embroidered (Scandinavian-esque) trim/etc? That is, can it be almost any kind? Or is there a type preferred in general for a sewing swap like this? I was really stuck in the sewing shop yesterday!!

Thanks in advance. :)

I love purple, lime green, birds!!! polka dots, or anything young and fun!

supacarol 07/13/2011 #

Paper Caper i think it can be any type of trim as long as you can see it being used in the project.

fat quarters should be quilters quality 100% cotton.
