This is our very first group swap!!!!!!! I thought I would keep it simple.. a handmade postcard (backed with something sturdy) that represents where you live.. you can draw, do mixed media, collage, paint, whatever you like.. Make sure it is : at least 4"x6" naked - stamped, written on, and NOT in an envelope sturdy and well-made - you probably don't want to many items sticking up that can get ripped off or end up getting the card destroyed. .I personally laminate mine but you don't HAVE to. representative (in the sender's opinion) of the state/community you live in Yall are the bomb so I know I dont have to put the usual thing rules.. flake on one of our swaps though - and you will be out of the group, period.

OK, I will join, but if anyone has a problem mailing to Canada (hopefully the mail strike will be over by then) please let me know and I will bow out on this one. (";)

Ok - So I make my own postcard and send it like a regular postcard correct? Do I laminate it before or after I decorate it? I've never done a postcard! Eek!

laminate AFTER it's decorated and after you have written your note and recipient's address.. but BEFORE you put on the stamp.. laminate then put the stamp on..
