Description:

-----EDITED THIS SWAP------ The sign up deadline is extended. -----2nd EDIT--------> PLEASE NOTIFY ME IF ANYONE DIDN'T RECEIVE A SWAP FROM THEIR PARTNER. I'LL ANGEL FOR YOU! :D

Every region has certain foods that are considered a specialty or at least very popular. For this swap your mission is to find some yummy item to represent your region to gift to your swap partner and write a nice card explaining about the item. It should be something that you've tried and know is good. Also, consider that when shipping something it can't be a food that will spoil, leak, be rejected by mail carriers or melt from heat. This is an international swap, I've heard you can't mail tea to Australia, and it's best not to send beef products to India, nor pork products to the middle east, so please be aware of what you're sending. :)

Requirements:

  • Check out your partners likes, dislikes and allergies before sending the item

  • Please send only packaged items, as homemade foods will most likely not keep long. (Specific requests can be arranged with partner but get their permission first)

  • Send food item in a secure package or padded envelope that will prevent it from getting ruined in transit.

  • Swappers with a 4.5 rating or better, unrated new swappers are welcome if they have a detailed profile. You may be banned for recent 1 or 3 ratings.

  • Your item should be tasty and creative, please put together the kind of package you'd like to receive.

Ideas for things to send:

  • Here in California we produce a lot of avocados, almonds, strawberries and chili peppers. We have a WIDE variety of chips, salsas, candies, cookies and such that use those flavors. What is your region known for?

I will angel anyone who gets flaked on. Contact of your swap partner will be tried first but failing that you'll receive something yummy from me. :)
