Repurposed Toy Swap

The idea behind this swap is fairly simple. Take an unwanted or old or broken or beaten up toy (or two or three if need be) and give it (them) a new purpose in life.

Perhaps those two teddy bear heads can be made into a pair of ear warmers or mitts. Maybe a couple of tonka trucks can be made into book ends. Too complicated? Maybe you are into something simpler. How about some monopoly pieces made into a charm bracelet or Barbie shoes made into a pair of earrings.

Not everyone has kids around the house so yes, you can buy brand new toys and take them apart if you wish (the dollar store is a good place for that!)

Get creative and have fun with it! It's a great way to keep stuff out of the land fill and to add a bit of whimsy to the old and boring.
