Just One Star block

Calling all quilters/sewers for a good cause! Moda fabrics has created a challenge to go along with their Quilts of Valor program. The challenge is to piece, quilt and bind 100 quilts in 100 days using the Flag of Valor pattern by Minick and Simpson. Moda will make the quilts, if we all send them just one pieced block based on this pattern/tutorial: Just One Star

Swap requirements: Make (at least) one of these blocks, mail it to Moda, and the actual swap will be to email your partners a picture of the block(s). Make sense?

Moda must receive the blocks by May 1, so the deadline for the swap will be 2 weeks before then, just to make sure they are received in time.
