Postcard Mail Art Swap centered around the theme of "My Mailbox." You are welcome to interpret the word "mailbox" broadly, as this does not have to be an actual box -- this means a box on the street, a slot in your door, a shiny PO box, whatever works. One mail art postcard to one partner, use any technique you like, just make sure your art and your conduct meet the group guidelines: http://www.swap-bot.com/forums/topic/70202 Postcard colors/techniques/etc. will be sender's choice. The postcards should be sent naked and should be sized between 5 inches and 7.5 inches. It is your responsibility to make sure the postcard has enough adhesive and postage to reach its destination. I will be checking everybody's profiles and swap histories before I assign partners per the group rules. If you have not signed in to SB for three days before the swap closes you will be removed from the swap unless you make previous arrangements. If you have any additional questions, please post it below and/or send me a PM and I will respond ASAP. Thank You & Happy Swapping! Onyx Additional Questions & Answers: What if I have created the perfect bit of mail art, but it is too delicate to mail without an envelope? If you have created a fabulous/perfect item for this swap that won't make it through the rigors of the modern mail system, then contact your partner ahead of time and see if they will give you permission to send it in a decorated envelope instead. I am having trouble trying to figure out how to rate my partner, because of xyz issue with the swap item. The group rules did not help me to figure this out. Do you have any suggestions? There is some additional information about rating CC items in the hosting guidelines: http://www.swap-bot.com/forums/topic/71633 You can also contact me via PM if you like -- that's usually a better way to go than, say, making a post on the public forums. I am having a problem with my swap partner and we can't seem to resolve this on our own, should I contact you? Abso-freaking-lutely. Please send me a PM ASAP & I will try to figure out what's up. Depending on the result of that investigation I will either angel for you myself or find you an angel for your swap item. Sorry this is happening to you, btw. Last but not least: where did that sketch come from? I had intended to use my friend's sketch but my computer ate the image; so the sketch above is from this person's blog: http://sketchandreleaseapiece.blogspot.com/20090901_archive.html |
