Description:

Okay, I think it would be cool to have an entire alphabet of inchies, done by several different artists. I also think it would be nice if the alphabet was split up randomly, not in chunks, so thati f you are displaying them, the mediums and styles might vary more throughout your alphabet!

Round One will be VOWELS! A, E, I, O, U and Y. You will make one inchie representing each letter listed for your one partner.

Please send inchies you are proud of.

If anyone wants to make all their inchies at once, rounds will be: 1: A, E, I, O, U, Y 2: C, G, M, Q, X 3: B, F, H, L, R, Z 4: D, J, P, T, W 5: K, N, S, V

Stealing @DoubleSided s Rules list: SIGN UP RULES - please read before signing up.

•By joining the swap, you agree to making quality inchies which will be posted on time. Non senders will be banned from future swaps, and dropped from the group.

•I reserve the right to ban anyone from the swap if I feel they will not be able to fulfill the swap.

•No flakers! If you see a known flaker sign up, please let me know and I will contact them. I'd rather lose a flaker than a bunch of good swappers.

•Note this is an International Swap - you may get an overseas partner!

•Finally - everyone should have fun! If you are having any problems completing the swap please email me and your partners BEFORE the mail by date, so we can resolve any issues.

I like how you've split these up randomly. Great idea!

Thanks, @KizzyMama :) I want to display mine and wanted the different artists to seem a little more seamless.

Great idea...I love the random mix, for all the same reasons!

Love it! Thanks for hosting :)

So smart to have them randomly spaced out like that!

PenguinParade 02/22/2011 #

Yay, I was hoping for an alphabet swap!

How fun! This will be a great way to display the alphabet for my learning preschoolers =)

I for one would be thrilled to have two partners...any chance?? Or maybe we could do it again! Or set up some individual trades? I'm having a blast with this!

If all goes well, I'll do numbers after...

Marryth 02/26/2011 #

This is going to be an awesome series! :) One question - should each inchie be JUST the letter, or should it include something beginning with said letter as well? (Or would either work?)

Rejoicing 03/ 1/2011 #

I am kinda wondering what Marryth asked, too.... This is for just the letter, right?

Leashah 03/ 1/2011 #

I'm planning on doing the letter as the focal point! However, I believe in artistic interpretation and would think that as long as the letter is on the inchie, it's up to you. Something starting with the letter would be great, but not required. An artistic version of a letter would also be really neat.
