This makes it a little tricky with the stipulation above about romance novels. I don't really know what you consider a romance novel as compared to what I consider a romance novel. I've read some really great historical fiction that has quite a bit of romance in it. I'd consider it to be non-romance if the book is above 200 pages (no Harlequin romance is going to be that long) and the historical portions are lengthy and accurate. I'd hate to send off something that someone else would consider a romance novel and it's one of my favorite pieces of historical fiction. Know what I'm saying?
