I couldn't believe that there were no FB swaps when I typed it in the search box. This swap is for those of you that are familiar with FBs (Friendship Books) in the penpal world and understand what it means when I say "High Quality". High Quality FBs are little books, made with a front and back cover and decorated very similar to scrapbooking on the cover. You can use stickers, magazines, newspapers, glitter glue, confetti, fancy patterned paper, glitter, brads, etc. and these FBs should be laminated with clear packing tape to withstand shipping and handling. *For this swap you will have 2 partners and will send 5 FBs to each partner. Therefore, you are responsible for a total of 10 FBs. I cannot angel this swap so I'm going to restrict it to newbies and those with a less than 5 rating. I hope there are some fellow penpals out there in need of some new FBs!

MissPaula, if it is a fabulous FB then no one will be upset if it's not laminated. I've hosted this swap in the post and ended up having to explain what an FB was and all that...hopefully this time people will already know :)

Maisymoo, you can send established or new, totally sender's choice. Making one for your partner is a nice thought though...

what size should they be?? These are my first fb's and I can't find a "standard" size listed online..

Chickadeebijoux, FBs are typically 2" by 3" give or take. Just make sure the inside flap is filled out, who the FB is for and by. No one wants to receive just little notebooks.

I just attended a bookbinding class and I am pamphlet-binding these new High Quality FB's.

To me, it's neater than staples and less bulky.

WhatÂ´s the difference between a N&N and a High Quality ??? I have seen a few called N&N that to me are definetely high quality and I try my best to make them that way as well.... so IÂ´m not quite sure!!!

MorgenSter, N&N and HQ (High quality) are pretty much interchangeable. It basically means the fancy FBs not just paper stapled together :)
