Description:

Calling all Card Makers! This swap will require you to make three (3) handmade cards for your partner. The theme for these cards are birds. All cards must not be smaller than the standard sized card (front of card is A6 in size-10.5 x 14.8cm approx) and all cards must be quality handmade cards with at least two layers.

Leave your card blank inside so your partner can write in them and use them and include a envelope for each card. If you make an unusual shaped card make an envelope to go with it.

Get creative with your card making as there will be a prize after everyone has received!

As this is a senders choice swap you can start making your cards straight away though you can wait until your partner is assigned and check out their profile for some ideas of what styles they might like.

Don’t forget to take a photo of your cards before sending them off as once your partner has received and rated you head over to the flickr group http://www.flickr.com/groups/handmade-card-swappers and upload a pic of your cards to the group pool. I will then pick a winner from all that have uploaded their cards and that person will receive 2 new Snag 'em Stamps by Imaginisce.

I will angel if need be but I would like this to be a flake free swap so you must have a rating of 4.8 or higher with at least 5 completed swaps. Newbies are welcome to join (we were all newbies at one stage) but must have a fully filled profile.

Don’t forget to join the flickr group http://www.flickr.com/groups/handmade-card-swappers and say hi, or leave a link to your crafty website or blog so we can get inspired! I plan to host more swaps in the future so keep an eye out for them.

If you have any questions don’t hesitate in contacting me and happy card making!

Why the A6 requirement? I make all my cards A4 and I thought that was pretty much standard.

If you like to make a larger card that is fine, just no smaller then A6 :-)
