Description:

This swap idea came from @irishfaerie9 in our group forum!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, as well as Down Syndrome Awareness month. Maybe there are some other worthy causes that are recognized this month? This swap is not only for causes for the month of October, but throughout of the year. Its a great way to learn about some of the afflictions others suffer from, as well as find out what people are doing to help. Or better yet, what we can do to help.

For this swap, we will send our partner a handmade postcard, bookmark, note card, ATC, zentangle or decorated envie that relates to a cause that is close to your heart. You can make almost anything you wish to decorate to make your partner aware of the cause you are supporting. Then, somewhere on the item you've just made, write a quick note (or not) as to why this is important to you. Maybe someone close to you suffers from this disease, or someone you love has beat cancer.

This is not partner-based, so you can start anytime. I'm giving 3 weeks for the swap, so it will still be October when we send. Your cause does not have to be a nationally recognized cause for the month of October. Again, it can be anything near & dear to your heart.

Usual swap rules apply. Open to all group members in good standing. I'll check profiles before assigning partners.
