Description:

When my daughter was younger I put together an alphabet book made of photos of things she was familiar with to help her learn her alphabet.

I thought that might make a fun photo swap idea. Here you can get more creative than I was able to with my daughter's book. Really, the sky is the limit. But, when you assign a letter to a photo please make sure that you let us know what the letter stands for.

Based on interest, this will be a swap I run for all the letters.

This first one is for the first five letters.

A is for...
B is for...
C is for...
D is for...
E is for...

These can be photographs you've already taken or they can be ones you do specifically for this swap.

You have a choice of emailing the 5 photos as jpegs or put them all in a set (probably a bit easier) on flickr and just email the link to your partners.

I would also ask that you cc me in on your email (I'll pass my email address on when I assign partners) and then I will put together an alphabet "book" of all the best photos and will put the link to those photos on the group forum.

P.S. The photos have to be something you photographed.

Can the letter be the first letter of a person, i.e. A is for Adam Lambert (I enjoyed an Adam Lambert concert at Winstar Casino in OK & photographed)?

TOTALLY up to you what you use for the letter. You just need to say how the letter is represented.

Sounds like a lot of fun and hope to be in each of the swaps and I guess I have some time to think about the harder letters such as Q X Z ;-).

Yeah, I'm thinking we might be a bit lenient with X and Z. Maybe a word that contains those letters?

love to join but not enough time
