Description:

This swap is for music that you can play in your cube/office, at a reasonable volume, of course. I always have music playing in my office, whether it's streaming radio, my iPod, or a CD someone sent me through here. So why not have a CD swap that is specifically themed for work? Include songs that have to do with the daily grind. Perhaps they mention paper clips and staplers or business and organization. Or, take us through a work day. Maybe you start with coffee, your computer crashes at noon, you get an obnoxious phone call at 3 and end the day with going home for a bath. How ever you interpret it, these songs should get you through an hour and a half of the work day. Please put as many songs as you can on the CD, no less than 12. Please include a list of songs/artists. I say give hearts for a creative cover design. Newbies can join as long as they have a relatively complete profile, but please message me if you have a rating below 4.5 to let me know why. If you end up with a partner who doesn't send a CD, let me know and I'll send you one.

where do you guys get the downloads for all these CD's you make? would like to join some of these, but have no idea how or where to go about it. i WAS hooked up to livewire but lost it when my computer crashed. grrr thanks.

personally, i have an enormous collection of CDs (that i bought) that i digitized into mp3s and store on an external hard drive. Then, I can access them through my iTunes. While I wouldn't advocate joining a peer-to-peer file sharing group like limewire (it's probably the root of your computer crash), it can get expensive to download everything through iTunes. You could try the library, I'm not sure how legal that is though.

He he, I am so tempted to join this one, but my reasonable part keeps saying "don't be crazy, not everybody wants to listen to metal whilst working" :DDD

For me it's the only thing that gets me going sometimes. And sometimes that keeps me awake ;)))

hey, if that's what keeps you sane, why not?
