Description: | |
You will make one hand embroidered fabric postcard. It has to be hand embroidered. Normal postcard size or a little bigger. The back needs to be a light colored fabric like muslin or heavy card stock so that you can easily see the address and information. There needs to be a middle layer. You can use batting, however you are going to need to make the back stiff like heavy card stock so that it will go through the mail with out getting torn up. Some people put cardboard in the middle. I like to use Pellon Peltex. It is stiff and makes a very nice stabilizer. You can find this at most fabric stores. I have even bought it at Wal-Mart. Please write your partner a cheerful message. Make sure that you write the word postcard on the back. I use a permanent black pen to write on the back of the ones I send. Send something you would like to receive. I will check profiles for flakers. |
