An Artistamp Album – start collecting now!

Since our recent faux postage swaps have been so popular, and we have several more in the pipeline, I thought it would be great to each have an album in which to store all our lovely miniature works of art.

In this swap you will be sending an Artistamp Album to your partner.

The album should have minimum dimensions of 9 x 14cm - the size of the pocket Moleskine cahier. (The one with the squared paper would be ideal for this swap.)

You can either make the album yourself, or use a store-bought one. If you are making the album yourself, please use good quality paper, and ensure that it is sturdy enough to stand up to frequent use. There is no need to decorate the pages, but do make sure that the cover is nicely decorated or altered. Check your partner's profile for their colour and style preferences, and go to town with painting, collaging, stamping or otherwise making it eye-catching and unique. Please don't just slap a few stickers on it, though :-)

Optional Extra: If you like, you can start off your partner's collection by affixing an artistamp or two on the first page of the album. These do not have to be made by yourself; feel free to add any other artist's work, but please give credit to the original artist.

When you have made your partner's Artistamp Album, please send it off in appropriate packaging, with an artistamp or two (alongside the regular postage, of course!)

Swap requirements

• 1 partner = 1 Artistamp Album sent, 1 received.
• Albums may be handmade or store-bought.
• Minimum size 9 x 14cm; can be larger if you like.
• Albums should have a decorated/altered cover.
• Albums should contain a minimum of 40 pages for a 9 x 14cm size. If you are making a larger album, you may decrease the number of pages in proportion to the size, so that an A5 album would have 20 pages.
• Package should be sent with one or two artistamps on the envelope, along with the regular postage.

You already had to have a rating of 4.9+ with no recent no-sends, 1s or 3s to join this group anyway, so the same stands for this swap. But I will still double-check before assigning partners, so if you have what you feel is an unfair comment or rating, just PM me & we can try to work it out. :-)

Please communicate with your partner or myself if you run into any problems with this swap that might make you send late.
