Okay for this swap we will make 1 deco for anyone and send to 1 partner. Please do not cover your work with tape or plastic covering. If you staple please hide them neatly in the crease of the booklet. Don't add too many pages; 4 is good cause it allows 8 people to decorate before going home:-) Put Swap-bot and the group name and date in the deco. Can you explain what steam punk is?

Well, I am very new to the idea. What I gather from googling it; is it's like a strange, grungy, punk, style that likes to use metal or machines as accessories. Sometimes its featured in a futeristic setting. I just saw some shoes and thought they looked pretty cool. I do not like everything about steampunk style, but thought this would be a "different" theme to have.

@Barbi : For me, steampunk is akind of science-fiction in a victorian style, with a lot of machines (think Jules Verne !). Have a look on flickr with the search, a lot of people made some great steampunk items ! :-)
