You sign up here... and list your likes and dislikes in purses... Send your partner a new or gently used purse.... (no rips, tears, stains..ect.. very good used condition) This is a good time to go through those purses you save thinking "I'll use this again" It's sender's choice, but you should probably try your best to find something your partner will actually use. This will have quick turnaround since all you have to do is go through your closet. US only. No unexplained 1's or 3's will be allowed in the swap. You must have a well-filled out profile as well. I'll go through all participants and ban those that look questionable. If you are hesitant about joining because of someone else in the swap, don't hesitate to contact me.

Please no cloth handbag, no totes and no fancy evening purse/bag or clutches. I like large purses with zippers and pockets. Any size straps or handles. Thank you!

Wow, such great interest in only a few hours.

I love crossbody bags and large shoulder bags. I rather darker shades of colors. Please nothing bright or light, nothing that hangs really low (like to waist), or something that has to be held (can't be hung on your shoulder).

What if we don't have anything our partner likes? Do we have to buy a new purse? I don't want to join if I have to buy a new purse...

good observation @thespookywaffle - if this is a swap to mail a purse we already have I don't see how people posting their preferences makes sense? Am I missing something? The swap says "Try your best to find something your partner will use." which makes it sound like a thriftstore hunt swap. But then it says "This will have quick turnaround since all you have to do is go through your closet." which makes it sound like it should be something we already have. I probably have enough purses to choose from that it may not be an issue for me; I just want to make sure I understand the swap correctly. I'm sorry if I'm easily confused; clarification, please? thanks!:)

You don't have to buy anything. It's sender's choice. I just asked people to post preferences so that you might be able to find something you have that they will like. Even for swaps where it's sender's choice, I still try to find stuff that will please my partner.

It's confusing because it doesn't say "sender's choice" in the swap description.

I love jean bags, and larger purses with lots of pockets. You can send me anything. I am not a fan of those tiny bags that go under your armpit! But, I can use most bags. I am a teacher so an old but still usable backpack is great.
