With thanks to Carter G. Woodson and President Gerald R. Ford, February is National African American History Month or Black History Month. For this swap, we will share one book with our partner that was written by an African American author.

As I share the same birthday as Rosa Parks, so I decided to use a photo of one of her books. However, feel free to choose a book you enjoyed and one you think your partner will, too. Be sure to check their profiles for some help. Any genre, any time period.

Nitty Gritty: USA only swap (National 'n all - postage should be nominal). No newbies and must have been rated for at least 10 package swaps. New and Gently Used books are appropriate and participants must have a rating of at least 4.9 with no 'no-sends' whatsoever.

Any questions or comments, please feel free to ask! For more information on Negro History Week, Black History Month, or African American History Month click here.

thanks to hydro75 for pushing me in this direction!

Great swap! I'm an African American Studies major and have tons of great books I'd love to pass on or even reccomend. Too bad I don't think I have 10 type 3's yet! Next time! :)
