A.T.S(omething)
When is an ATC not an ATC? Well, when it's something else, I guess. For this swap you will send your partner something that is essentially an ATC (e.g. 2.5” x 3.5”, signed & dated on reverse) but is also in some way different. Some ideas:

  • an ATZ(ine)
  • a 'functional' ATC-with-a-purpose (something that your swap partner can use)
  • an 'interactive' ATC (something with instructions to follow, and/or partially completed for your partner to complete themselves - not an entirely blank card, though, please!)
  • an ATC made out of an alternative material (e.g. fabric, packaging – anything other than card!)
  • an ATC with pockets or other additions
  • an ATC which veers from 'the norm' in some other way that pleases you

Flat cards are allowed, but not a traditional collaged image, or hand-drawn/handpainted picture (etc) – there needs to be something different about it. This is your opportunity to get creative!

Swap requirements

  • You will have 2 partners and send each partner 2 ATS. 4 cards sent = 4 cards received.
  • Each ATS will be (or at least appear to be) 2.5” x 3.5”.
  • Each ATS will bear all the information that you would expect to find on the reverse of an ATC (but this being an ATS, and therefore non-traditional, it is not essential that the information is on the reverse of the card, so long as it is incorporated somehow). Please provide at least: Title of artwork (even if the title is [Untitled]!), your name (can be real name, SB user name, or another pseudonym), and date. You can include any other info/notes you like, eg edition (if applicable), medium, inspiration etc.

The obvious bit
You already had to have a rating of 4.9+ with no recent no-sends, 1s or 3s to join this group anyway, so the same stands for this swap. But I will still double-check before assigning partners, so if you have what you feel is an unfair comment or rating, just PM me & we can try to work it out. :-)

Cool idea. A friend of mine has a little kit that she has printed on cardstock. When you cut out all the bits and assemble it, it makes an ATC sized posable yogi. It is very cool.

I think I might buy a few from her next time I think of it. M

I like movable parts too - so i am thinking of doors and widows that open -those are always fun to make!

I don't think I'll have time for this one right now, but I hope you'll run it again sometime!
