Bejeweled Bookmarks

This is a swap suggested from our group forum:

The Oct. Nov. Dec. 2009 cover of Somerset Life features some beautiful velvet ribbon bookmarks. This swap is inspired by that. Take a piece of pretty ribbon, the length depends on how much ribbon you want to show, remember that some books are bigger, as are magazines, (14'' or roughly 35 centimeters may be a good estimate) and either use a ribbon crimp or sew a hem on each end, add a wire loop or jump ring.

Then the real fun begins!! Add a stunning vintage earring, rhinestone pin, pearls, a beautiful crystal prism, a romantic item you may have beaded and made yourself. Use all your lovely creativity, then send it off to one partner. Package it safely so it arrives in all it's loveliness. Group rules apply. If you can, please post a picture in the forum, so we can all appreciate it!! (Not required though)

Senders choice, but please TRY to send something your partner would like. If they HATE neon orange, please don't use it! :-)
