Description:

I love going to the beach (although I don't get to much chance to go) and when I do I always have my head down looking for treasure (pretty shells, rocks, beach glass, stuff like that).

For this swap you will go to your local beach and find some cool treasures for your partner. Also please send a note with your package telling your partner where your stuff was found.

Please follow your local laws about what you can and can't pick up at the beach, also please make sure that you do not kill any of the critters you pick up just to have their pretty shells. Please make sure to wash your treasures before sending them.

To join this swap, you must have a 4.8 rating or higher. You must also have signed into swap bot within a week of the last day to sign up.

Ohh an excuse for a vacation! There isn't a beach close by, so a 2 hour jaunt is in order. Thanks for giving a decent time frame on this Swap.........Just hope no one sends deflated balloons and plastic caps Smiles

Oh, this will be sooo hard. I can't decide which beach to go to. Ummm, Ventura, Pt. Mugu, good ol' Malibu, Zuma, Santa Monica, Redondo. It is so hard being a California Beach Girl, sigh.

Jadedmama, remeber to leave Madame Pele a gift if you take anything from a beach in Hawaii. Ask the Kamaa'inas.

P.S. I collect sand.

This swap is a great idea but you also have to be careful mailing stuff international such as shells and rocks and such due to different environments. You not only have to follow your local laws but you will also have to make sure that it isn't illegal to mail these beautiful shells across international waters to the new environment in which they will be going.

I collect sand and water and shells, etc!! Also, anything you send will have a special place in my mermaid bathroom (its my sanctuary)! :o)

Damn you user3775 for being at the beach. I've been landlocked for EVER.

Wish I could join this one, but no beach near where I live. Does a river bed count..sand no shells pebbles perhaps.
