Postcard Addicts

mine went out today :o)

I received them today, Sashvh! Thank you, Heather, for the two postcards that arrived today. I'm in several postcards swaps along with Postcrossing, and took me a minute to figure out these were for Swap-bots "Postcard Addicts" swap. So you can tell I belong in this group, being a postcard addict and all, and therefore being confused as to what swap these were for! But I found you here! Thank you! :) They were both great - a humorous "Life's a Beach" postcard and a more serious 'cityscape' postcard. Loved them!

If I might make a suggestion to others swapping: mentioning on the postcard that the pc's are for the "Postcard Addict" swap might cause less confusion as to who, or what group, to thank for the recipient. 'Cause I'm sure if they're in this swap, they're an "addict" and might be in other pc swaps, too. Thankfully, Heather included her email address, so I could personally thank her.

Ok I received some postcards while I was gone to the beach!

I hope that these are from this swap. They did not have a lable. I am in a lot of postcard swaps on different sites.

I received 2 cards from Jill Sodt United we Stand Army postcard and Wichita mountains postcards.

I received 2 from Lee Ambrose Flordia Seashell's Yes these are the same shells that we have here! I live right between the coast and the mtn. about 4 hours either way. I also got a sunset postcard from Lee.

I received one from Malade vtbellagirl ??? spelling?? Autumn sunset in vermont.

And another thing... I'm in the middle of my final exams... and I just missed the deadline of this swap :( To all my swap partners: I'm sorry!!! I've just put them in the mail today. ***

I'm sorry I forgot to send on Saturday with my trip to PO -had them all addressed. Will drop in the mail tonight.

I got a reminder yesterday evening at 9 pm that I had missed my deadline in mailing my postcards...but it was still the 18th! ha ha! Maybe I was going to drop them in the post office box later that evening...how would swap-bot know? Ok, I DID forget that yesterday was the deadline and it did sneak up on me. ;) However, my 10 postcards were mailed today, July 19th, 6 destined to 3 ladies here in the US and 4 destined to 2 ladies in Portugal! Be on the lookout! Let me know when they arrive! And most importantly, ENJOY! :)

Ok, I just posted that message above and it's dated the 20th? It's still the 19th...where is Swap-bot originated from anyway? It must be somewhere that is 3 hours ahead of the USA.... ok, that explains why I got the "missed your deadline" email...:)

Don't worry about getting them in the mail late, folks! As long as we get them, I'm ok with it!

The Porto is my favorite but they are both great!

Receive a postcard from Sue on Thursday! Thank you! Loved the "Greetings from California" 'stamp' postcard! I had some "Greetings from Georgia" 'stamp' postcards that I sent out over time, too. Wish I had one of these from all 50 states! :)
