your own Quentin Tarantino OST

Got this idea from a co-worker who commented on one of my mix CD's I brought to work; "this sounds like a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack". So, here goes...

Try to make your own Tarantino mix, not from his existing OST's, but from your own personal collection. What makes a Tarantino mix? Well, here's a tentative recipe; should be pre-80's music, with the exception of... ...could be a recent kitschy cover of an older tune, a few instrumentals. an international track or 2. eccentricity is a plus. a decent variety of R&B, funk, stoner rock, crooner, rockabilly, etc.

This is by no means a set of rules, but a suggestive guideline. Feel free to deviate, but remember, your goal is to make it pass for a Tarantino soundtrack!
