LSRUS: Four Year Anniversary E-Swap

My favorite type of swap is packages. I like to make care packages for others. An idea I had for new swaps was to start making swaps from recycled materials. I think this would benefit the planet.

My favorite swaps are postcards. I love seeing sights from different areas. My wife and I have, more than a few times, based part of a road trip route on something I discovered on a post card I received. I more enjoy though read what my Partner has to say. Nothing disappoints more than a PC that just says something like “Here’s the (subject) postcard” and yes, I have received several like that.

I like to make and receive hand-made postcards and don’t understand why some people are so adamantly against them. I can often make a postcard that is more fitting a Partner’s interests than find a commercial one. I would like to see more swaps open to hand-made cards.

I like postcard swaps that are themed and where you are required to write more than a generic greeting. I like home made or store bought. I also like one stamp swaps in general. For example, recipe swaps, holiday cards, home made or store bought, where you have to include a themed or profile based tuck in. I like the 20 question 'All about me' swaps where you write at least a sentence explaining each answer. I like bingo games in the group discussion pages.

For a new swap, maybe a home made envelope with a one page letter about somewhere you have traveled and what sites you would recommend. Also include a profile based surprise.

I love all the ideas here. I also love handmade postcards. I will work on these swaps this week.

My favorite kind of swaps are those that allow you to bring out your artistic side. I am a digital artist and I love to swap things I make. Hope you can make some of those type of swaps.
