Surviving Summer

This is a letter swap. Two partners (could send the same letter if you wish,) The Over Fifty Group has not done a letter for some months. This is about SURVIVING SUMMER -- for many of us it was VERY hot and we are looking forward to a cooler autumn and winter. We deserve it,.

Complain all you want, tell your partners what you did to survive. If you were lucky enough to live where the weather wasn't so bad, please don't crow too loudly just tell your partner some of the good parts and what will be even better the rest of the year. Where I live it wasn't bad and we are beginning to enjoy the autumn colors.

This is a US only swap although I know others had difficult summers too. But the postage has gone up and up and, much as I love writing to and hearing from others in other countries, I'm kind of pinching pennies and maybe you are too.
