Shabby Chic Handmade Journal Embellishments

This swap is for those who love the shabby chic style, and in particular junk journal embellishments. Choose one of the items listed below to hand-make for your partner. No store bought. Of course you can send more, but only one is required.

Feel free to use laces, tule, ribbon, lightly inked edges, cheesecloth, paper or fabric flowers, etc. This is for flat mail so it shouldn’t be too thick or you may end up paying extra postage.

Newbie friendly (at my discretion). 1 partner, regional

• A tag with hidden side pocket to insert a card or paper/s.
• A layered cluster (for decoration). See pic above.
• A decorated envelope pocket.
• A 2x6 pocket that your partner can sew or glue to edge of page
• A journal tassel ( ribbons with fancy fibers, yarn and charms or beads)
• A unique item that you’re really good at making
