Description:

This will be the easiest ATC you have ever made! I love this technique You will want to do everything this way! 😃 This will be an ATC for Halloween.

REVERSE STENCILING Gather your supplies: Cardstock for your stenciled background

3-4 colors of ink pads - Think Halloween colors, oranges, golds, bright greens, purples...

Blending brushes, or foam blending tools

Stencil - does not have to be Halloween, any nice design will be perfect.

Black inkpad

DIRECTIONS: Ink your ATC background card with your inks. Be sure to use at least 3 colors. You may sponge them on, put on direct to paper, or use blending brushes. Best results are if the colors are bright. Place your stencil over the ATC - sometimes it helps to secure your ATC and stencil with a little washi. Using your black ink pad and a blending brush (tool), blend your black ink all over the stencil. Cover the whole ATC with the black stenciled image so there are no colors showing under the black. Remove stencil. Voila! A beautiful reverse stencil 😃 Add a phrase or word on the card. Extra embellishment not needed - you want to show off the reverse stencil technique. Add swap Info- name of swap, your name, SB moniker, date, and title if you have one. Send off to your partner, with proper postage, of course!

Have fun with it...use colors that blend nicely and don't "muddy" when put together.
