ZZ ~ Yolo or Yew-Dee

This month, you have a choice between Yolo and Yew-Dee. You can do one or both.

Yolo

The trick here is to ensure that you start your spiral and the bottom of the outward curve so that the leaf-like accents have room to flair out. If you start the spiral at the top of an outward curve, then your lines don’t have room to flair and will get tucked up under the curve above it. Clear as mud?

Depending on the size of your curvy line, you may add as many leaf-like shapes above your spiral as you need to fill in the space to your liking.

Yew-Dee

You know how in a magic trick the presenter holds up two separate rings and then dramatically smashes them together and they become interlocked? Yew-Dee looks to me as if a magician held Bales in one hand and W2 in the other – then magically mashes them together into one. And what a great result!

For this swap, use a regular Zentangle size tile (3.5" square).

You can use other tangles, as long as Yolo and/or Yew-Dee is the focus.
