UK Happy Mail #9

Hello 🌈💌🌈 I am returning to swapbot after a very long break and I'm so excited to get back to swapping! I used to run this swap fairly regularly and I thought I'd try bringing it back even though I have no idea if there are many UK swapers still on the site l...especially people who remember this swap!

I initially planned to just join swaps but I find European and International ones a bit complicated now with the new postage tax rules, many people don't want the value of the items recorded on the customs label because they'll have to pay a percentage of the value, I completely understand that! But my post office keeps telling me I need to put the value or it might get rejected 🙉🙈. It's so frustrating!

So here is an exact copy and paste of the UK Happy Mail swap from years ago...

I wanted to create a UK only Happy Mail swap just to have a little option that would have lower postage costs and quicker shipping times! Please only join this swap if you live in the UK.

The swap will consist of a Happy Mail Package that contains at least 4 different goodies for your partner. Examples of an item include:

🌈 a card or postcard

🌈 a sticker sheet or minimum 10 loose stickers

🌈 sticky notes, memos and other stationary

🌈 a letter set (2 pages of writing paper and an envelope)

🌈 vintage papers, old book pages etc

🌈 cardstock or crafting papers etc

🌈 washi samples

🌈 a hair or face mask or other beauty item

🌈 tea or hot drink sachet (must be in date and factory sealed)

🌈 a snack (also must be in date and sealed)

🌈 die cuts (handmade or store bought)

🌈 embellishments (handmade or store bought)

🌈 ribbon or twine samples

🌈 any other goodie your partner specifies they like to recieve

Don't forget to include a note stating the swap title and your username so your partner can rate you easily.

The swap is not profile based so it's senders choice and you do not have to match your partners likes but it is nice if you can and please don't send your partner anything they specify they do not want to recieve.

You can present your goodies in a flip book or crafty project if you want to but it is not required for this swap.

Please only join if you have a rating of 4.8 or over. If you are an unrated swapper but you really want to take part in this type of swap feel free to send me a message and if I can I will set up a private swap with the exact same guidelines.

I will do my best to angel of required if things cannot be properly resolved.

If your partner sends at least 4 types of goodies on time please rate them a 5. Please don't mark down anyone if the things they send are not to your personal taste. Hearts are up to you!
