Description:

Sometimes we just need to Vent. So many of us tend to keep it locked up inside. You usually can’t say a word without repercussions, so then it festers inside of us until we can finally fork up the $$$ to get help. I don’t know about you but I don’t have thirty dollars a minute to voice my opinion about a topic.

So in this unique Swap, you’ll be given the opportunity for some Mental Health - - - for only the cost of a stamp. In this swap, you will send AND receive a letter from a partner about something that makes you MAD. The purpose is just to let it out to a stranger. That’s it. As a recipient, you choose if you would like to respond, but it’s not a requirement.

RECIPIENT: After reading the letter from your partner, if you feel like you can relate or even help your partner, you can choose to respond and write back. It’s not a requirement though. However if you do choose to write back, please do not argue or debate your partner’s expressions. They did spill their heart out so don’t hurt it. Simply put, you are helping just by being there to listen. And when you do receive their letter, please keep in mind not to take offense or take anything personally.

SENDER: This is not Hate Mail, this is intended to be therapeutic. Do not send a Mean letter, the purpose is to send a letter that describes your frustrations. This is not a letter about the weather, your pet, or other typical small talk. This is your chance to express how you truly feel about things like your job, or the terrible traffic, or the cost increase of stamps, etc. Grrrr! Tell it like it is- you deserve this!

  • I do strongly suggest to end your letter with “Thank You for Listening” and include a kind Tuck In Gift as a show of gratitude.
  • Typed or hand written is your choice but it must be legible.
  • No Low Rating Allowed in this swap, you should never be judged for your feelings.
