Magic Box Destash-- Summer 2022

For this swap fill a MEDIUM FLAT RATE BOX full of items you would like to destash. Use a USPS medium flat rate box, only a USPS medium flat rate box, nothing but a USPS medium flat rate box.

Fill this box and send it to your partner. When you receive your box, take out what you would like to keep. Refill the empty spaces in the box. In the next round, we will send these boxes again. The ultimate goal is that these treasures find homes.

I cannot stress enough that these boxes are random and meant to be fun; a surprise like a grab bag. It's very possible that you might not receive the same number of items, same price value or have every item coordinated especially for you. Part of this swap is to find homes for treasures so this may include items you don't like or can't use that should be passed on. Please keep this in mind as an appropriate expectation when signing up.

The contents can be a mix of anything-- craft items or household items. Items do not necessarily have to be new, but should at least be in very usable condition. (ie you bought a set of something and only used one. Be sure to fill these boxes with a variety of items.)

DO NOT:

Fill empty space with paper or bubble wrap. (However do wrap breakables.)

Send out of season items

Send broken, smelly or dirty items

Send trash figuratively and literally

Send all the same items

Send something you wouldn’t want to receive

Be angry at your partner because the items were not exactly what you wanted

For this summer version I think it would be ok to include summer holiday/themed items. So ONLY holidays and events that take place between June 1st and August 31st.
