Description:

This is for those among us who print their own postcards from photos, photo-edits or drawings/paintings. Whether you get prints done "semi-professionally" in a copy shop or print shop, or whether you do your own printouts and glue them on sturdy cardboard: this swap is for you.

IMPORTANT: for copyright reasons, please only use your own images, that is, your own work. Photos you took, paintings you painted... You know what I mean. DO NOT just print something off the internet. If you do digital collages, please only use components and brushes you have the appropriate licenses for.

You will have three partners in this swap, and you will send one of your own self-printed postcards to each partner. Postcards are to be sent "naked", that is, written, and mailed without an envelope. (Make sure they're as sturdy as regular store-bought postcards, so they withstand a postal sorting machine.)

Motif is sender's choice for obvious reasons (not everyone has everything "in store"), but if you have several themes available, it doesn't hurt to look at your partners' profiles to see which of your cards may suit their likes best.

Don't forget to include the swap name and your username.

To participate, you need to have

  • a filled-in profile with at least some discernible general likes and dislikes

  • at least five ratings for "real snail mail" (type-2 or type-3) swaps

  • no recent and/or unexplained bad ratings; I will check.

  • no overdue swaps on your dashboard; ditto.
