Description:

Howdy, Book Lovers! I haven't participated in swap-bot swaps since the pandemic began, but I think it's time for the Children's Book Illustration Postcards Reboot. [Please see the note about mail travel and rating at the end of the swap description].

We all loved to read when we were kids. What we remember most often are the beautiful illustrations found in our childhood books and on book covers--Peter Rabbit, Miffy, Little Polar Bear, Winnie-the-Pooh, Pippi Longstocking, Beatrix Potter, Paddington, The Hobbit, Alice-in-Wonderland, The Velveteen Rabbit, and many, many others.

For this swap, you will send one store-bought children's book illustration postcard to one partner. Zazzle, Etsy, and free cards with children's book illustrations are allowed, but advertising cards and homemade cards are not. The cards must be sent naked--written on and stamped, but no envelope.

No unexplained 1-ratings. 4.9 minimum rating. Will allow others with reasonable explanation. Please message me.

Please Note: Since the beginning of the pandemic snail mail has been moving rather slowly, so please give more than ample time for swaps to arrive. I am just now receiving cards some of my international penfriends sent early November.

Senders: Please take a photograph of the front and back of the postcard before sending.

Receivers: If you do not receive the swap in a month or two, reach out to your partners before rating. Do not rate a 1 or 3 if they send photo proof of the swap. Simply give things time to arrive.

If there is enough interest, I will host a USA-only version of the swap once per month and the International version once per month.

If you're interested in seeing the postcards I've receive via the past and current series, go here: Children's Book Illustration Postcards.
