This is the swap you need to join to participate in our Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, online write-in. This is our ninth year of holding this NaNoWriMo event!

Please don't delay in this step. In the past I have snail mailed participants a packet of materials in advance of the write-in. All of those steps will be electronic this year with material emailed to you.

We have word sprints and a few games, and there are prizes!

Come write-in

Our actual event takes place from 3 p.m-5 p.m (U.S Eastern time) in the Swap-bot NaNoWriMo Swapping Group Forum. (New to the format? See the 2019, the 2018 and/or 2017 threads for how it works.)

We hold the write-in at this time in order to accommodate as many group members as possible. It's very early a.m. for Australia/New Zealand, but afternoon, midday for others, and not too late evening for Europe.

I will create the thread for the actual write-in a couple of days before the event.

How do I rate my partner?

This is basically an electronic swap. Rate your partner a 5 after he/she signs in to the event on the write-in thread with a hello message.

You DO NOT have to stay the entire two hours. You can come write-in as long as you'd like. But you DO need to post a hello at some point during the event to be rated a 5.

If you'd like to snail mail your partner a NaNo greeting, feel free. But that is not required.
