HMPC: Celebrate LIFE!

In appreciation of LIFE, let’s create a 4x6 inch postcard:

• Sender’s choice of medium(s)! Paint, collage, etc. Simply use what you have at home - social distance at it’s finest! 😉
• Sturdy card-stock backing! Non-corrugated cardboard (like that of a cereal box) will ship for the 35 cent postcard fee. Anything thicker requires additional postage. Please use correct postage!
• Send naked (without envelope)
• Spray or brush-on sealant strongly recommended as a finishing top coat before mailing. Gloss/matte mediums and varnishes, mod podges, clear acrylic, resin, or beacon decoupage are all suitable options. Even a light watered down mixture of original Elmer’s glue will suffice!
• Clear protective sleeves are also allowed, but NO packing tape covered postcards! According to my mail carrier those tape-covered PCs are a USPS nightmare because they leave residue on the sorting machines and cause ripping. Let’s be kind to our postal workers by not making their job any harder! 😉

• On back, beside your user ID and this swap’s title, please date the PC and answer TWO of the following quarantine questions:

  • What’s one thing you’re grateful for today?
  • Who’s one human you’ll check-in on or connect with today?
  • Which expectation of “normal” will you dismiss today?
  • How will you get some “green time” outdoors today?
  • How will you get some “me time” exercising today?
  • What aesthetic beauty can you create or cultivate today?
