Make A Background, Part 1

There are so many fabulous ways to create interesting and beautiful backgrounds for our work. Paint, stencils, rubber stamping, beautiful paper, gelli prints, collage, Distress Inks, alcohol inks and stains, etc.

Let's create 2 ATCs, one for each of two partners. For each of your ATCs you will create ONLY an interesting or colorful background to send to your partners. That will be part 1 of this 2 part swap.

For part 2, you will take your the two background ATCs that you receive and finish them with whatever vintage images or elements that you like. Let the background inspire you and guide your work. You will then send one to each of two partners.

Depending on how many sign up will help determine if you get your own background ATCs back or someone else's. I'm hopeful that we will have enough swappers that when part 2 is complete, you will have received two amazing ATCs that have been made and completed by someone other than yourself.
