Dangling Birds

I have left my jute line across the living room window from my Christmas cards. I have a few odd cards and dangling stars and hearts hanging from it ~ I love the look of it. I was watching my bird feeders and thought I'd like to add some birds to my line...

I thought we could make some 5 or 6 inch cardboard birds to share. These can be realistic, Spring themed or abstract & colorful, even cartoon style ~ it will be senders choice. However, if you choose to do an abstract or cartoon style bird, it still must be recognizable as a bird, okay?

These birds can have layers, of mixed media, but not necessarily heavy embellishments. You can collage, doodle and paint ~ just be creative! You should be able to mail them inside a notecard for a regular stamp. Remember to cover the back with at least a pretty paper so no plain cardboard shows. Also please add some sort of hanger so your partners can hang your beautiful dangly birds!

You will have two partners and will send 1 bird to each partner :)

This is senders choice, so you can begin as soon as you sign up!

I will allow newbies with a well filled out profile. I will angel ~ but it won't be needed :)

*I made birds in image, but they are smaller ~ not the size for this swap, also WIP & not finished.
