AACG: Altered Puzzle Piece with a Hanger

Let's start the new year with a bang! Puzzle pieces...how I love them! I love to make them, and I love to receive them! They are perfect little ornaments for display (I can think of so many ways to display them, such as on a wee wreath, hung from ribbons on a beautifully decorated piece of firm cardboard or chipboard on a wall they may be used to decorate journals or other, larger, works of art...the list goes ON!). Okay...let's take one puzzle piece (not the standard jigsaw pieces, as they are too small...although they are amazingly adorable and have a multitude of possible uses as well), but, say, a piece from a standard child's puzzle. I know ('cause they are my "source") that Walmart carries a pack of several children's puzzles all wrapped up together, and they are perfect for this type of ornament. Alter this puzzle piece with paper and embellishments of your choice, and add a hanger so that your swap partner can hang it and enjoy it year-round. These are so enjoyable to make, and it's possible that a series of altered puzzle swaps might be in the works!
