UHM: Book Page File Folder

Make your partner a mini file folder for them to use to corral bits of paper or stickers...

• Take two pages from a discarded book.
• Try to use some that aren't too old so they hold together for awhile.
• Use a glue stick or gel medium to stick them together.
• Cut the top of the page to resemble the tab cut on a letter file folder.
• Fold the page in half to make a folder.
• Decorate the front of the folder using any medium you want. Collage, paint, diecuts, lace, ribbon, stickers, etc. Let bits of the text from the book page show through.
• Put a couple of pieces of paper ephemera inside the folder for your partner to use.

My folders are about 4 inches wide and a little over 3 inches high when folded. You can make yours any size your book pages are, but large enough to be useful. I love using these as "covers" for my ATCs, or for extras in swaps.

Package securely, add adequate postage, send on time, mail promptly.
