For the Half & Half swap, half of the samples you send your partner will be profile-based and half will be sender’s choice.

The Swap

• You will have one partner for this swap.

• Send 8 samples.

• 4 samples must be profile-based.

• 4 samples are sender’s choice.

• To help your partner out, after signing up, leave a comment on this swap of your washi hint list mentioning at least 4 colours, and at least 4 themes or patterns you would like to receive. (This does not guarantee you will receive all items on your list—it is just to help your partner choose).

• Sender’s should review the hint list and also consult their partner’s profile for ideas.

• Each sample must be at least 18 inches (approx 46cm) and be wrapped around a playing card (or similar) that the tape will not stick to.

• No more than 1 skinny tape (less than 0.2 inches/0.5cm wide).

• No plastic deco tape or duct tape.

• Don’t forget to include your username, swap name, and a short note explaining which samples are profile-based.

• If your are unsure what to send, consider what you hope to receive and choose accordingly.

Rating

• Please rate a 5 if you receive 8 different washi samples, 4 of which should correspond to your hint list or profile (but be flexible—your partner may not be able to fulfil all of your wishes!)
