A Poem Describing My Writing Life

How would you describe your writing life? Do you sit down at the keyboard every morning and pour out hundreds of brilliant, inspired words that will change the world?

Nah, me neither!

Is it sometimes like that, and sometimes like trying to fill your swimming pool with a teaspoon and a bucket? I'm getting closer to the truth, aren't I?

So, write about that! Write one poem, it doesn't have to be a long one, five or six lines will do. If this is one of your dry days, make it a Haiku. Yes, I know Haiku is not six lines, but I understand dry days!

Write or type it on regular printer paper, and send it out to your partner. That's it. I'm making this swap Type 3, because of the creative element of writing. Feel free to decorate your paper if you are feeling guilty for having a dry day
