what does this part mean....?

(at least 3 5/8 x 6 1/2 inches)

Folded? So it fits in a regular envelope or are we supposed to used a small brown manilla envelope?

AlishaK 08/14/2018 #

Sorry Newbie here. Is it ok if we go over one stamp? As long as we make sure it is the correct amount of postage on it?

CraftyChristina 08/14/2018 #

Ahhhhthe ENVELOPE must be (at least 3 5/8 x 6 1/2 inches)...I think, I'm gonna roll with that...NEWBIE WOES LOL

AnnieNotSoBig 08/15/2018 #

@alishak I think the idea is the challenge of making it work with one 50 cent stamp. If not, I wasted a lot of time weighing and reweighing to get the biggest bang for the half buck

Ktasticaz 08/15/2018 #

Well, crud. I was confused by that since it said we could send more than required. Already sent it in the mail today and since I had other packages, I didn't pay attention to whether it was a single 50 cent stamp package. I don't know with any confidence yet how to even plan to stay within 50 cents and I didnt want to send a crappy swap. I didnt intentionally disregard the criteria if that was the intent.

AnnieNotSoBig 08/16/2018 #

@Ktasticaz I took the "more than required" to refer to the minimum number of items in the envelope: "at least 5 items." But I can see why you thought your interpretation would be acceptable. I think, given the ambiguity and lack of swap host response, that any decent swap partner will rate you for what you thought the requirements were.

OhanaVixen 08/16/2018 #

@CraftyChristina the full made envelope need to be 3 5/8 inches by 6 1/2 inches

OhanaVixen 08/16/2018 #

@AnnieNotSoBig @AlishaK Yes, the package should be one stamp. I'm sorry my wording was confusing. you can send over 5 items. sorry for the confusion

rottifan4 08/16/2018 #

I mailed my envelope but I had to take half of the things out. Maybe next time we can do two stamps.

AnnieNotSoBig 08/16/2018 #

@OhanaVixen Thank you for clarifying and for running a newbie-friendly swap. :)

Ktasticaz 08/16/2018 #

Thanks, everyone for the response. I do read this both ways now too. Lesson learned, and if we're all having fun, then I personally will call it okay. 💕😁

JanetMarie 08/20/2018 #

I mailed mine before seeing the edit about using no more than one stamp. I didn't intentionally disregard the criteria either.
