Description:

If you always wanted to swap ATCs and want to get started, but have not done this before, this is the right swap for you! (Of course, experienced ATC swappers are welcome to join as well! Just don't expect "professional" artwork if you receive from someone sending you their very first ATC!)

In this swap, the theme of your ATC is sender's choice. However, if you want to make your swap partner happy, of course it doesn't hurt to take a look at their profile and make something you think they'll enjoy.

Remember the important things about ATCs:

  • ATCs are defined by their format, which is 2,5 x 3,5 inch (or 6,4 x 8,9 cm). The orientation ("portrait" or "landscape") does not matter although many people prefer portrait orientation - choose what suits your theme.

  • ATCs should be sturdy, which means, thicker than a normal sheet of printer paper. Think watercolor paper or the cardboard of a cereal box.

  • You can make your own ATC base simply by cutting a piece of sturdy cardboard / paper to the correct size.

  • Then you can draw, paint, collage, .... any technique is allowed! However, please put some effort into your ATC. Sinply sticking a sticker on your ATC base and calling it done is a no-go. Of course you can use stickers, but they should be "part of a whole", not the only design element. Try to make it interesting. :)

Since this is a beginner swap, of course this is also newbie-friendly. This means newbies are allowed to join as long as they have a well filled-out profile (more than just a few lines) and a valid address. I will check and remove anyone who looks like they might be a problematic swapper.
