Description:

I'm going to continue this swap until there is a lack of interest. If you missed out on the previous one here is your chance to join in.

Have you wanted to try making ATC's but were afraid you weren't good enough? Not sure how to make an ATC? If so this swap is for you. This swap is for people new to making artist trading cards who want to do so in a non-judgmental swap. If you are an ATC "pro" who wouldn't be happy with a beginner card this swap is not for you.

For this swap you will make one ATC card for two partners (you will get two ratings.) Standard ATC rules apply; card must be 2.5" X 3.5" (6.35 cm x 8.9cm) on sturdy background. Put the name of the card, date made, your name, on back of card.

Card may be hand drawn, painted, stenciled, collaged, zentangled, embellished, use die cuts, done in fabric, etc. Senders choice. However you choose, except for "sticker slapping." Stickers may be used if they are done well, don't just stick one on a piece of card-stock and call it done.

Newbies with a well filled out profile allowed (see note below). No unresolved, unexplained ones or threes in last 6 months. I will check all profiles prior to assigning partners and will ban questionable swappers.

Making this international as postage shouldn't be much for a flat envelope.

There are lots of YouTube videos and Pinterest ideas for making ATC's if you need instruction/inspiration.

NEWBIES: Please fill out your profiles. This helps other swappers know your likes & dislikes. And you will see this is a common requirement of many swaps here on swap-bot. Although this is senders choice many swappers look at your profile to try and make something they know you would love. You wouldn't want to receive a card done in shades of orange if you hate orange! To get an idea of things to include check out other swapper's profiles. To do that; once you join this swap click the link in the box at the top right that says "view participants." Click on any name and it will take you to their profile. If you have any questions please message me instead of commenting below.

Is it okay to have signed up even if I'm in #1? I'll unsignup if not.

HisChild 06/19/2018 #

@jenmcjen yes you can sign up. As a new user you are limited to joining 5 swaps at a time. Once you have been rated for 5 swaps you can join 20 swaps at a time. Thanks for joining.

Hi! I'm a newbie at swapbot and joined this ATC newbie swap. I am just a little confuse, a partner apparently was assigned to me but, I dont know where to find the details of my partner? One messaged me because I was assigned to her as a partner, does that mean I should send the ATC to her? Sorry for the question, just a bit confused since im really new here. I hope to hear from you soon. Thank You.

Hi Fabell, on the top right of this page you should find a small yellowish box called "Swap member options". The second entry is called "See the partners you send to". If you click on that, a popup window should open, showing the address of the persons you send to. (In this case, two people.) Clicking on their usernames will then lead you to their profiles, with their likes, dislikes and so on. After you sent your ATCs, you should click on "Click here when you have sent your items". Hope this helps!

Thank you Arhel. Been busy and haven't been able to get on.

I am newbie and am falling in love with swapbot already. The ATC cards are so fun to make and I love reading their profile and making one just for them according to their likes and dislikes. Thanks for continuing to have this swap, it helps us newbies built our profile up enough to try larger more challenging ones. Thanks
