Description:

Now we know that April is National Letter Writing Month, and the Write On Challenge. But did you know that it is also National Poetry Month?! It's true!

So, for this letter, that will count for our Write On Challenge :) we will include a favorite poem to the letter. The best of both worlds! :)

You will have 1 partner, and this swap is International.

For this swap, we will write each of our partner a letter about a topic of our choice to be recorded on our write-on challenge letter lists for the month of April. Replies to letters aren't required! But if you would like to reply, please PM your partner or state in your letter. :)

This letter will also include a poem. This poem can be written by you, or one you have found over the years and really enjoy. Length of the poem is up to you - a haiku up to 5 pages or more! - it's your call. :) Please include the title of the poem and the author, to give them credit. You may type the poem out, or copy and paste and print, but let's share some neat sheets. :) Pages of the poem may be folded to fit in the letter. Poem page may be on plain paper. Let's keep the poetry PG

If you would like to tie it all in, you can write about your thoughts of the poem you included, how you discovered it, etc, but that is not a requirement, just an idea. :)

Letter should be written on stationery or decorated paper decorate with washi, stickers, doodles .... that's fine, if you don't have printed stationery). Letter length should be 2 sheets (single side) of stationery, 5x8 /A5, (minimum) or 1 sheet, front and back.

Letters should be handwritten, if possible. But typed letters are acceptable, too, for this swap

Be sure to include your swap bot ID and the swap name somewhere in the letter, so you can be rated. :) Also, include the letter number on the envelope. (Letter # __ of 30)

For this swap, only the letter is required for the swap, and the letter number on the envelope. Tuck in's, etc, are optional.

Optional: If you are on Instagram, you can tag your letters #write_on (just be sure to cover addresses, for safety!)

Questions or comments, please send me a PM - I may be too busy writing letters to check all the comments. :)
