Description:

Let’s create a collaboration Holiday Card! Start with a half page of card stock or blank greeting card. The card can be up to 5/7 inches and should fit in a standard greeting card envelope.

Divide the front into the assigned number of spaces. To illustrate, I'll say 4. This number will depend on how many sign up for the swap. Divide the front of your card into the sections evenly so each artist has room to work.

Number each of the squares in a corner. Decorate the edges of your card if you like. You start--pick a square and put a little holiday themed doodle/sketch/ drawing embellishment in it. You may use any of the holidays between the start of the swap and mid Jan as a theme for your art. There are several so there should be something for everyone.

On the inside draw numbered lines across it. On the line with the number corresponding to the space you used on the front add a Holiday greeting and sign your name. Now put it in an envelope and send to the next person in the RR. We will each get our card back and have a wonderful greeting card from all of us.

Any questions or concerns, contact me. You’ll need to wait until the swap is assigned before you start your card since you won't know how many sections you'll need.

I’ll leave plenty of time to create, but please send promptly to the next person so we can get these back in time to send out if we choose to part with our creation. All swaps must be sent by the deadline!

I will post the sequence to send once sign up ends and partners are assigned. We will be ignoring the assignment and sending in a RR circle. For example, if 10 people sign up, we’ll have 2 RR circles—one with 4 and two with 3 members. Those in the group with 4 will send to 3 others, those with 3 will send to 2. Trust me, it works! I've done it before like this.

Spread some holiday cheer!

This is totally confusing to me. Is this like my Pass and Paste swaps? Are we sending a Holiday themed Pass and Paste , using a 5x7 postcard or cardstock base? You say collage, but also say Hand Drawn or Hand Painted...........are you trying to say any medium is acceptable or do you want this to be hand drawn or hand painted? And collaged? I'm confused. And then, I think you want this to be a round robin.....so the last person in the group sends it back to the original sender? but you will send out a list of who we mail to and receive from that's different from what the computer assigns?

I've done these before, and they are really interesting when they return. It's like a Round Robin journal swap, only without the journal! LOL!

@Wolfeagle -so sorry I missed your questions. I've been traveling and just didn't look at this swap enough.

Yes, it's a RR any medium. It ends up looking like a greeting card--size up to 5x7. Since in on-going swaps, we never can predict who will be partnered with next, it's easier to just assign groups to exchange between.

Since there's only 2 of us that signed up, if you want to get in on it, I can add you in. I'll PM you as well.
