There is an U.S version of this being held by j3ss1ca...I've borrowed the idea from her to run the international version. My daughter is 9 years old and in the 4th grade. she loves to sit with me and paper craft...and looking at all those lovely envelopes coming from different parts of the world, she would love to have a pen pal too! Details: 1 page, hand written, basic details - age, grade, siblings, likes, dislikes, etc... And please include 1 small flat surprise...like sticker sheet, note card, post it notes, fancy pencil, paper clips, washi samples etc. just to make it more fun for your pen pal! Also make your child decorate the envelope...it can be anything, stickers, drawing, washi.... Fine Details: Children between ages 7 to 12. This is a wonderful idea and I wish you all the best of luck with finding pen pals for your children. My daughter is 15 and would LOVE to have more pals, but it's so hard to find girls her age who want to put down their cell phones and write an actual letter! Sigh.
